Something’s about to be afoot at Bellevue’s friendly neighborhood Metro station! To wit, check out this Washington Business Journal posting:
A partnership of D.C.-based CityPartners LLC and Sanford Capital LLC has submitted a planned-unit development application to construct a 236,000-square-foot office building and a 205- to 215-unit apartment building at the Congress Heights Metro station in Southeast D.C.
There’s also another, more detailed article on the East of the River site, which includes a somewhat odd “group” response by an anonymous poster dubbed “Residents of 8E04 Community” seeking more transparency. Congress Heights on the Rise, however, now illuminates with updated renderings of the massive project dubbed “Congress Heights Town Center“.
My opinion—bring it!
